GC STrength Rebrand
Garga Caserta approached me to redefine his performance training brand’s image from individual recognition into an expandable brand beyond the principle owner’s reputation.
What began as one individual has expanded to two facilities, a team of trainers and physical therapists and hundreds of clients that are proving to perform at the highest levels in sports.
Naming Exercise
We explored tons of themes that ranged from Caserta’s Brazilian heritage to Roman/Greek Athletes. We connected with the latter and found the word Talaria – the winged sandals of the Greek God Hermes. Talaria conveyed the speed, strength and athleticism we were aiming for but it was tough to say and connected to an existing object.
From there, we evolved Talaria from its roots and came to, Talo.
Ideation
With the name secure and a clear direction for iconography, I explored dozens of ideas on how the wordmark could come to life.
Brand launch
We announced GC Strength’s rebrand across email, social and a newly designed website.

What rebrand is complete without some merch? The staff and athletes can now proudly rep the work they put into training at Talo.
