Alex Kocher is Easy Friday Co. — a freelance Art and Creative Direction Consultancy that focuses on growing Soccer in North America through creativity.
Easy Friday Co. has helped clubs and organizations at all levels of the sport in the United States including, MLS, USL League 1, USL League 2, and USLw. Alex lives in Richmond, Virginia and has over fourteen years of experience in Design and Advertising.
Before starting Easy Friday Co., he was a Design Director at Thesis, a Portland, Oregon based design agency, where he worked with partners like Nike, Taco Bell and Adobe among others.
Over seven seasons, he lead the creative team at the Portland Timbers and Thorns FC where his passion for soccer and creativity helped create arguably two of the most recognizeable soccer brands in the United States.
Before arriving in Oregon, he traveled the country climbing and backpacking with his dog, Cedar. And before that, he pushed pixels at a blue-collar brand agency in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2011, he graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from the Myer’s School of Art at the University of Akron.
